Konotop occasion. The program includes excursions in Konotop and Bochechki village. In Konotop we will see Konotop battle field, museum, Church of the Ascension, the house-museum of General Dragomirow. There is Bochechki not far from Konotop, it is the village where we will visit the estate of Princess Lvov, where are park and palace of the 18th century.

Museum of local lore

Local History Museum of History Konotop begins its history from the late 19th century. The museum consisted of historical sites and works of art, including icons, paintings, decorative arts. In the mid 20th century the museum has three main sections: historical, artistic, natural. Every year it has been improved, supplemented with exhibits. Today, the museum introduces the history of the city, there are developed thematic exposition plan, opening a new exhibition "Our spiritual charms," ​​and an exhibition of samovars and others. You will learn that in the Battle of Konotop occurred in 1659, will discover such figures as Lazarev and Ponomariov, who are the founders of the museum. The program also includes excursions House Museum General Dragomirow and Ascension Church with his ashes.

We will see Konotop battle field, where the Moscow army was defeated by Ivan Vyhovsky.

 

Bochechki is famous for its estate of Princess Lvov. Its territory is a park that was built in 1745 and the magnificent palace built in 1783.
