Excursion in Sutkivtsi
Sutkivtsi located in Khmelnitsky region, and began its charge to the 14th century. The first record of the village date back to 1407 year, when the Lithuanian prince Vitovts gave these lands to Hungarian nobleman Hotko Kroatu.
There is preserved defense tower residence of Sutkovsky, in the 15th century itself Sutkovsky began building the castle tower, based on a fortified stone wall fort of the 14th century.
A.Balaban new boss in the early 17th century, has upgraded the castle after the Tatar assaults, but by the end of the 17th century castle had already lost its military significance and gradually became destroyed. Today you can see the pentagon eastern tower, and fragments of walls and ramparts.
